Make a difference by decluttering your home
Thanks to the support and donations made directly to the home and its charity shop by the community, Little Eden continues to offer quality care with a lasting impact to some of the most vulnerable members of the community.

With the change of season, Little Eden Society appealed to community members who may have decluttered their homes or done spring cleaning to donate second-hand items to the society’s charity store.
The society’s charity shop, located at De Sun Place, 33 Eighth Avenue in Edenvale, is in desperate need of donations.
Since the society was founded 54 years ago, it has provided love, care, dignity and respect to over a thousand children and adults with profound intellectual disabilities.

The government contributes about 45% of Little Eden’s income, with the remaining 55% earned through different fundraising efforts, including the operation of the charity shop.
Items that community members can donate include clothing in all sizes, cookware, books, toys, linen, furniture, appliances, and bric-a-brac.
All funds raised through the operation of the society’s charity shop go directly towards the care of the 300 children and adults with profound intellectual disabilities.
The shop’s operating hours are as follows: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 16:00, Saturdays 08:30-12:30, Sunday and public holidays are closed.
