Eden Park mother back in court

Eden Park mother Joanne Swartbooi, accused of murdering her boyfriend, will reappear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on June 8.

Joanne Swartbooi briefly reappeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on May 4.

Her matter was postponed to June 8 for further investigation due to outstanding forensic analysis and DNA results.

The Eden Park mother-of-three faces a charge of murder after being accused of killing her boyfriend, Timothy Jacobs, with a baseball bat and burning his body.

She remains in custody after she was previously denied bail. The accused has since denied the allegations against her.
