Bull injures a person in attempt to escape delivery to Bedfordview
The Bedfordview CPF confirmed that the bull escaped transportation along Van De Linde Road before various security services, the Bedfordview CPF and community members worked together to secure the animal.
One person was injured after a bovine bull escaped while it was transported through Bedfordview on Saturday.

The bizarre incident occurred shortly before 15:00.
The Bedfordview CPF confirmed that the bull escaped transportation along Van De Linde Road before various security services, the Bedfordview CPF and community members worked together to secure the animal.
The bull was sedated on the scene and safely transported to the Germiston and Bedfordview SPCA.
“The bovine bull was transported to the SPCA under escort from BHT and RAG after concerns were raised by the SPCA that the owner of the animal would try to take it back,” the Bedfordview CPF said.
BCPF members liaised with Primrose CPF who met the convoy at the SPCA’s Germiston premises.
In a statement the SPCA thanked everyone involved.
“It was a challenging task, but thankfully the bull is now safe.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who rallied together, all the CPF patrollers, CPG paramedic, Christopher Morris who sedated the bull on the scene, RAG, BHT and EMPD.

“This was a happy ending because we have a community who worked together for the care and welfare of an animal in need,” the SPCA said.
