This year, learners from Reddam House Bedfordview cut and knotted material to make doubly thick fleece blankets in celebration of Mandela Day.

Learners formed groups to make the blankets, after which they assembled to form a huge heart on the field to show their love to Mandela on Mandela Day.
On the day, learners embraced the school motto “We Shall Give Back” and made over 300 blankets across both campuses.
