Be aware of job scams falsely presented as posts by CoE
Any communication and adverts for vacancies will carry the CoE logo and not Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.
The City of Ekurhuleni has warned the community to be aware and vigilant of job scams that are falsely presented as the city’s recruitment process.
“We reiterate that the city’s job application process is not conducted through social media platforms or social media messaging and urge the public to be vigilant and not fall for these scams,” said Ekurhuleni spokesperson, Zweli Dlamini.
Scammers ask their victims to pay money in exchange for false job opportunities for drivers and cleaners among others.
