Beloved security dog of Edenvale High remembered

The school described Wendy as a valued and beloved member of its staff and a loyal friend to Velley Hlongo, a security officer at EHS.

With great sadness, Edenvale High School bid farewell to one of its most loved staff members and four-legged friends – Wendy.

Wendy’s health deteriorated rapidly, and she recently passed away.

They welcomed her into the school in the third term of 2019.

Trained at Braveheart Guard and Narcotic Dog Academy, trained Wendy as a guard dog specialising in protection and narcotics detection.

Wendy’s paw prints will forever remain in the hearts of the Edenvale High School family.
