SAPS confirms attempted murder under investigation following Edenglen shooting
House robbery victim targeted by criminals whilst watering garden.
Edenvale SAPS confirmed that officers are investigating a house robbery and attempted murder after a woman and her daughter were shot and injured by robbers in Edenglen, Edenvale, on October 12 at about 15:00.

Warrant Officer Jabob Mashile, Edenvale SAPS communications officer, said a woman was watering her garden when she noticed a white Toyota Corolla parked in front of her property.
“Suddenly one man ran towards the woman and pointed a firearm at her. He pushed the woman inside her house. His accomplices also entered the house, which they ransacked,” said Mashile.
“As the house robbers were leaving, they fired shots. The woman next door and her daughter were shot and injured by the robbers,” said Mashile.
Both were transported to the hospital where they are still receiving medical treatment for gunshot wounds to their legs.
