EMPD arrests 10 suspects and seizes drugs worth over R12 000
Officers recovered cannabis, Mandrax, crystal meth and cat following community tip-offs, with suspects now facing charges of possession and dealing.
A multi-area operation by the EMPD has led to the arrest of 10 suspects and the seizure of illegal substances valued at more than R12 000.
According to EMPD, between August 11 and 13, officers targeted known hotspots in Germiston, Kempton Park, Duduza, Daveyton and Putfontein after receiving tip-offs from community members about drug-dealing activities.

During the operations, suspects were found in possession of dagga, Mandrax tablets, crystal meth and cat, with an estimated street value of R12 520.
The suspects were arrested and taken to their respective local police stations.
They face charges of possession and dealing in illegal substances.
All 10 are expected to appear in court soon.
