Highland fun at St Benedict’s College

It was a day of fun for all ages as the community braced the winter weather to enjoy the sound of pipers and watch highland dancing.

Highland fun was the theme of the day when St Benedict’s College hosted its highland gathering.

Held at the school on July 15, it was a day of fun for all ages as the community braced the winter weather to enjoy the sound of pipers and watch highland dancing.

Besides attracting pipe bands from near and far, a craft market gave attendees the opportunity to browse through a variety of wares as they enjoyed performances.

Competing against one another, massed bands played some of the public’s favourite tunes such as Amazing Grace and Flower of Scotland.
