Curro Edenvale learners excited at first day of school

“It is wonderful to see the new and familiar faces at school, ready for the year ahead.”

Excitement and anticipation filled the air when Curro Edenvale learners went to school for the first day of the year.

For some, January 17 marked the start of their academic journey, while for others, it signified the next step in their journey.

Twins and Curro Edenvale learners Ariella and Anabella Walter are ready for Grade One.

Executive head of school André van Wyk said he felt positive that the year ahead would be successful.

Already in the area for five years, Van Wyk said the school was well-established and invested in the community.

“Last year’s matrics did exceptionally well, and we will continue to aim high this year,” he said.

Grade Eight learners Callun Moses, Riley Urquhart and Mqlwandla Lowane back at school for the first day of the year.
