Edenvale Senior Citizens Society hosts a fundraiser

ESCS committee member Linda Ranwell said the market, which is held twice a year, is hosted to raise much-needed funds for the society.

Community members attended a fundraising morning market hosted by Edenvale Senior Citizens Society.

Held at the Edenvale Community Centre, the market had a variety of things on offer for all ages.

Linda said funds raised from the market are used to cover some of ESCS’s costs, which include providing meals for the seniors of Edenvale.

Based at the Edenvale Community Centre, ESCS encourages elderly community members to be more social and interact with one another by becoming members of society.

Natalie Leschinsky and Ron Goulson enjoy browsing some of the bargains available.

They host a variety of daily activities, including yoga and playing cards. Alternatively, community members can have their hair done, eat lunch or exercise at the gym.
