Grade ones of Curro Edenvale embark on school journey with excitement

The first day of Grade One is exciting for learners and parents, as children embark on their official schooling journey.

On January 15, Curro Edenvale welcomed new Grade One learners.

As schools around South Africa marked the start of the 2025 academic year, the youngest learners not only got to grips with their new uniforms, classrooms, teachers, and potential friends but also with one of life’s big stepping stones.

Curro is dedicated to shaping great futures. The JSE-listed independent education group prides itself on the quality and care of its teachers.

This was seen on the first day of school as Grade One teachers held hands, dispensed tissues and did their utmost to make the day not only exciting but a positive one.

Executive head of Curro Edenvale, André van Wyk, said things went well on the first day.

The children have settled in, and we anticipate a successful year.
He said the school and staff are dedicated to providing a conducive learning environment.
