Edenvale Dojo athletes continue to make their mark on the national karate circuit, bringing home an impressive haul of medals from recent Karate South Africa tournaments.

At the KSA League One Tournament in Uitenhage held in August, Caidin Rilley won gold in kata and bronze in kumite, Leejay Cheng won gold in kumite, Sarai Jonas won silver in kumite and Chiyi Cheng won bronze in kata.

This follows success at the KSA Open Elite Championship in Durban in July, where Leira Ahmed won gold in Junior Female Kata and bronze in Senior Female Kata and Junior Female Kumite.

Blade Teasdale and Tamra Ahmed earned bronze medals, while Caitlin Christian claimed silver in Junior Female Kumite.

The dojo wished all the students well.
