Jeppe Girls enjoy inter house gala
Each house was led by their martic cheerleaders who, in their creative outfits, kept the spirit and excitement levels high.
At the end of January learners from Jeppe High School for Girls made a splash when the school hosted its annual inter-house swimming gala.
Swimmers eagerly participated and were cheered on by their respective houses, namely, Crassula, Disa, Gerbera, Harveya, Nerine and Protea as they competed for victory in their respective races.

Each house was led by their martic cheerleaders who, in their creative outfits, kept the spirit and excitement levels high with energetic war cries.
The fun-filled nature of the day was evident in the inflatable races of the day, especially the staff vs councillors race, which had everyone on their feet.
The inter-house gala 2024 winners, Gerbera, were undefeated as they took the overall winner’s place for 2025.
Other winners on the day were Protea (spirit trophy), Nerine (cheerleading), Harveya (junior swimmers trophy) and Gerbera (senior swimmers trophy).

The school thanks the sports department for a successful event, the parents and old girls who attended in support as well as the school’s first aid team for being on standby.
