Ekurhuleni District accepts resignation of Bedfordview CPF executive
Once appointed, the interim committee will manage BCPF’s affairs and ensure elections are held in May, as per the forum’s constitution.
An interim committee will be established following the resignation of Bedfordview Community Police Forum’ s executive committee.
According to a statement issued on February 23 by Dr Mikail Reza Patel, executive chairperson of the Community Police Board in Ekurhuleni, the board has accepted the resignation of the BCPF committee.
Once appointed, the interim committee will manage BCPF’s affairs and ensure elections are held in May, as per the forum’s constitution.

“We assure the community that public safety remains a top priority,” said Patel.
“The relationship with Bedfordview SAPS and the Ekurhuleni District remains strong, and we thank them for their continued partnership.”
Patel said that further details will be shared once the interim committee is appointed.
