Morning market in Edenvale brings locals together
ESCS is always looking for ways to raise money and the morning markets are one of the ways it does.
Edenvale Senior Citizen’s Society held a successful morning market on April 5 at the Edenvale Community Centre.
Committee member Linda Ranwell said despite the pouring rain community members came along to see what bargains they could find.
She said the centre was filled with vendors trying to sell their wares.

“Our curry and rice and the bacon rolls were very popular,” said Linda.
ESCS’ next morning market will be held on July 5.
“We hope that our next market will also be well attended.”
Linda said ESCS is always looking for ways to raise money and the morning markets are one of the ways it does.
She said funds raised are used to provide the elderly of Edenvale and surrounds a place to enjoy friendship and participate in the various activities ESCS offers.
