Residents of Tarentaal Retirement Village got their creative juices flowing when they made their colourful bonnets for their annual Easter tea on April 22.

The impressive turnout reflected more than just creativity as it showcased the village’s vibrant sense of community and fun.

From whimsical designs to funny hats, the residents’ enthusiasm and camaraderie were on full display.

“The tea was very well attended, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. Attendees enjoyed a spread of cakes and sandwiches.

“It was a memorable afternoon filled with laughter, good company and seasonal celebration,” said village manager Tammy Neilson.

“The spirit of the season was on full display, with the many bonnets breaking the ice and giving residents a shared talking point.”
