Letter: Meadowdale employee goes extra mile to help desperate motorist

Editor – On the afternoon of April 29 , I was travelling on the highway when my wheel started making a noise.

Having my six-year-old grandson with me, I did not want to stop along the highway.

However, I managed to get to the BP Cargo Motors in Meadowdale.

I would have had to wait at least half an hour for my husband to come and help me.

Nelson Ratabane, a friendly pump attendant, came to my rescue and assured me that there is no need to wait for help and was prepared to change the flat tyre thus saving us time and money.

He is an asset to his company and the community.
