EMPD unites women in uniform through prayer and empowerment

In celebration of Women’s Month, law enforcement and emergency service women gathered for a day of prayer, inspiration, and recognition in Ekurhuleni.

As South Africa enters Women’s Month, the EMPD hosted a Women in Uniform Prayer Day, bringing together women from a wide range of law enforcement and emergency services.

Held in honour of the 1956 Women’s March, the event aimed to uplift, empower, and inspire women who serve on the front lines in uniform.

It was a day of reflection and unity, acknowledging the unique challenges faced by women in these high-pressure roles while celebrating their strength, resilience, and leadership.
