Little Eden ready to launch CEO Wheelchair Campagin
Experience empathy in action this March as business leaders navigate a day in a wheelchair to support children and adults with profound intellectual disabilities.
Little Eden Society has challenged and invited CEO’s and business leaders alike to see life a little differently this March with the launch of the society’s annual CEO Wheelchair Campaign.
For the 300 children and adults at Little Eden Society, simple daily tasks, such as walking down a corridor, using a lift, or navigating a parking lot, are full of challenges.
Now, South Africa’s CEOs and business leaders have the chance to experience it firsthand with Intellectual Disability Awareness Month.

The campaign invites leaders to spend a full workday in a wheelchair, navigating offices, meetings, and routines from a completely new perspective.

It is not symbolic; it is lived empathy, inclusion, and leadership in action.
This year, the society hopes to raise R1.5m through the campaign.
The NPO will use funds raised to care for the 300 children and adults living with profound intellectual disabilities at the society’s two homes.
The 2026 campaign launches on February 27 at Eastgate Mall.
It is supported by MasterDrive, professional racer Guy Davis, Mont Blanc Financial Services and Eastgate Shopping Centre.
The launch will feature interactive demonstrations, media coverage, and networking opportunities. It will culminate in a fun, competitive wheelchair race.
