The girls explore various aspects of coding using Python and compete in a Hackathon to complete the course.

The Jeppe High School for Girls Coding Academy is run on a Friday after school.
The girls explore various aspects of coding using Python and compete in a Hackathon to complete the course.
Several “Star Coders” from the academy showed exceptional performance and were awarded certificates in the school assembly.
The Star Coders were Athena Papoutsis, Lamees Matwadia, Diya Narotam, Farzana Ahmed and Morgan McLaren-Lyall.
Additionally, several learners were awarded “Budding Coders Certificates” for showing great potential at the Coding Academy.
They were Carol Hu, Tiana-Leigh Pillay, Bophelo Moeletsane, Katlego Mokgatla, Bukho Njeje, Dana Ho, Karolo Makgale, Botshelo Modise, Jada de Kocks, Qaylah Harrison and Caitlin Pretorius.
