As the year draws to a close, Reddam House Bedfordview reflects on how its 2025 theme, Make an Impact, has taken shape across every corner of the school community.
“More than a slogan, it became a guiding principle that shaped how our learners approached their learning, how our teachers inspired growth, and how our community worked together to make a difference,” said Reddam House Bedfordview executive head, Stephen Hazley.

He added that throughout the year, the school witnessed exceptional dedication, creativity, and compassion – from outstanding academic achievements and captivating stage performances to sporting success and meaningful community engagement.

It has been a dynamic and fulfilling year in which learners have discovered the power of their influence.
Hazley said they demonstrated that impact is not only measured in major accomplishments, but also in everyday moments of teamwork, empathy, and perseverance that reveal true character. This spirit of purpose and growth has been central to Reddam House Bedfordview in 2025.
Achievements in 2025
“We began the year by celebrating the exceptional matric results of the Class of 2024 – a cohort whose dedication and resilience set a high standard for all who follow,” Hazley said.

The matric class achieved a 100% pass rate, with 98% Bachelor’s Degree passes, 29 A aggregates and 57 B aggregates. In total, learners earned 314 subject distinctions.
The school celebrated the achievements of Mirela Hoffman, who was placed on the IEB Outstanding Achievement List, while Kent Allan, Madison Ferrãó and Kezia Walton were recognised for Commendable Achievement.
The grade achieved an impressive average aggregate of 74%, underscoring the school’s academic strength.
The arts continued to flourish this year, showcasing creativity across multiple disciplines. “Our dance production was nothing short of exceptional and even received a Naledi Award nomination — a testament to the depth of talent within our performing arts department,” Hazley said.
