Terrace Road needs more traffic signs

With all the discussions about Terrace Road since the horrible accident earlier this year and not being sure if the speed limit on the road is 60 or 80 km/h, I decided to drive along it to find out.

If you are going up the road from Van Riebeeck Avenue towards Sebenza, there is one sign, partially-obscured by a lamp post, before you get to Drake Avenue.

Going the other way, from Sebenza towards Van Riebeeck Avenue, there is again one sign, just past Palliser Road.

If the concerns about speeding on the road are to be taken seriously, I would really suggest the municipality erect some more, clearly visible signs indicating the speed limit.

It is a long stretch of road and because it is so wide drivers, especially those who are not locals, might assume a higher speed limit, adding to the danger of the road.
