One of the continual battles that parents have is doing daily homework with children who are dyslexic or functionally illiterate.

I see so many parents who describe the daily homework as a battle between them and their children and in many cases ending with both the parent and child in tears.

Many parents feel alone in this struggle.

This is very disheartening for the parent and adversely affects the sacred parent and child relationship.

I have found great success in turning this around by coaching parents in intensive one-day workshops for groups of 10 to 15 parents.

I also offer one-day teacher reading workshops on the same basis.

May we all strive towards creating a fully literate South Africa so that we can help develop her undoubted potential to become one of the greatest countries in the world.

Thank you again for your amazing support.

Edna Freinkel,

Founder of Readucate Trust.
