Edenglen High’s Zoë Cloud secures provincial colours in acrobatic gymnastics

After receiving Gauteng colours, Zoë Cloud competes successfully at the 2025 national gymnastics championships.

Zoë Cloud, a Grade Nine learner from Edenglen High School, has made her school and community proud by earning her Gauteng Provincial Colours in Acrobatic Gymnastics.

Cloud built on her recent success by being selected to compete at the 2025 National Gymnastics Championships held on October 11 at the National Training Centre in Eldoraigne, Tshwane.

Competing alongside her partner in the 14-and-over level six women’s pair division, the talented duo achieved a sixth-place national ranking.

Public Relations Officer and Marketing Coordinator at Edenglen High School, Itumeleng Gwangwa, said their achievement was a remarkable accomplishment at such a high level of competition.

This marks the second time Zoë has been selected to represent Gauteng at the nationals.

“It showcases her dedication, discipline, and passion for the sport.

“Her hard work continues to inspire her peers and highlight the growing talent within Edenglen High School’s sporting community,” said Gwangwa.
