Balderstone Sports Institute continues to nurture SA’s future golf stars
At the SA Kids Golf prize-giving, BSI reaffirmed its decade-long commitment to developing young South African golfers through mentorship and competitive play.
Balderstone Sports Institute founder, Michael Balderstone, had the pleasure of attending the SA Kids Golf season-ending prize-giving.
Balderstone handed out trophies to all the winners at the ceremony on October 19 at the Ebotse Golf Estate in Benoni.

“We are proud sponsors of SA Kids Golf and have been so for the last 10 years. SA Kids Golf provides an amazing foundation for youngsters from five years old upwards to experience and learn competitive play, golf etiquette and public speaking. Many tour players have initially started with SA Kids Golf,” said Balderstone.
He added that it was also wonderful to see BSI Junior Academy student Lu’ay Hsu among the trophy winners, as well as earning a special award for sportsmanship.
