Connor Olfsen clinched the 2025 Balderstone Sports Institute (BSI) Matchplay title, defeating defending champion Adrian Andrade in a thrilling 36-hole final.
BSI’s head of marketing, Roger King, reported that the contest delivered everything one would expect from two of BSI’s brightest talents, culminating in Connor’s impressive 2 and 1 victory.
King observed that Connor (17), a standout of the BSI Junior Academy, demonstrated maturity beyond his years as he stayed composed under pressure, capitalised on key moments, and maintained a high standard of shot-making from start to finish. His ability to recover, reset, and rise to the challenge ultimately proved decisive.
