Golf tournament invitation

Corporates are invited to a golf day at the Modderfontein Golf Club on Friday, June 20.

The management and residents of Hope House in Edenvale are inviting companies to attend the annual event.

Hope House is a centre run under the auspices of New Day Church. Their mission is to assist addicts and alcoholics to embrace a new life under God’s will.

Sponsorship is available for each of the 18 holes at R 5 000 per hole. The cost includes golf for four people (your own four-ball) on the day, a Halfway House light lunch for four, live entertainment, prizes, light snacks at the prize-giving, the right erect advertising boards on the hole being sponsored as well as the rights to display company products in plain view on hole 18.

Organiser Ms Claire Ladner said a formal thank you in the day’s programme will also be included along with an ‘honours board’.

There is a grand sponsor for the day, which will cost R 20 000. This will include all the above mentioned benefits, plus the company’s name being mentioned in all future correspondence and press releases. The sponsor will also be seated at the main table for prize-giving and present the prizes in person. There will be a motor dealership sponsor, should companies wish to display motor vehicles.

The 18th hole is reserved for only one motor dealer at a cost of R 20 000 for the day. The above benefits will also be received. There will also be an individual sponsor should one wish to play as an individual.

There are an additional 48 singles tee times available at a cost of R 1 000 per player. One can also “buy” a celebrity to join their four-ball at an additional cost of R 1 000.

“If you are not a golfer, please accept our sympathies. People should not, however, feel left out as they can still participate by donating prizes or cash towards the day,” said Ms Ladner.
