Walking to better the school
The fun walk included a hat parade, prizes, stalls with fun items and toys for sale.
Walking in the spirit of fundraising was the name of the game when Elma Park Pre-Primary School held a fun walk on Saturday, May 31.
According to Mrs Elizabeth Human, the principle at Elma Park Pre-Primary, “The fun walk was aimed at raising funds for the upkeep of the school’s educational programme and facilities. It was a day of pleasant weather in which staff at the school, along with parents, could enjoy a fun-filled day with the children of the school.”
The fun walk included a hat parade, prizes, stalls with fun items and toys for sale. There was also entertainment from Grass Roots Coaching.
“This has been a tradition at our school for a long time. We have always tried to make Elma Park Pre-Primary school the place to be. Our aim for these children is school-readiness through an education that will assist them throughout their schooling careers,” said Ms Human. @BedfordJourno
