Gillooly’s Parkrun results
On September 10, the weekly Gillooly’s Parkrun at Gillooly’s Farm had 986 runners from 32 various running clubs taking part.

From the total number of participants, 187 were first-time runners and 243 of the runners recorded new personal best times.
The men’s placings for the parkrun were as follows:
- Ian Smuts was first over the line in 18:29.
- Vernon le Roux from Born 2 Run Athletics Club was second over the line in 20:07.
- Duvan Gustav Roos was third over the line in 20:15.
Current standing in the Men’s annual points competition:
- Bradley Oakley-Brown Fit 2000 AC (CGA) 1 363 points.
- Trevor Salzwedel 1 192 points.
- Wayne Holmes 1 190 points.
The female placings for the parkrun were as follows:
- Carmen Walker-Campbell from Florida RC, was first over the line in 22:58.
- Heidi Williams-Sutton from Greenstone Hill Running Club was second over the line in 24:05.
- Maretha Steyn was third over the line in 24:43.
Current standing in the Women’s annual points competition:
