4-2 victory for M Tigers

September 16 saw Mahlangu Tigers (M Tigers) and Le Ruma football clubs go head-to-head in a Nedbank Cup qualifying game.

The match was played at the Edenvale Sports Grounds.

Colen Makhange, manager of M Tigers said his team won 4-2 on penalties against Le Ruma.

In the second game against Alex United Football Club, M Tigers lost on penalties with a score of 4-2.

Makhange said on September 16, 16 various teams played at four different locations in the battle for the Nedbank Cup.

He said Alex United will now play in the semi-finals in October.

Makhange said despite the loss, the season has been going well for the team so far.

“The team has shown great character and a determination to win,” said Makhange.
