Birmingham FC express their gratitude
JOBURG – I would like to thank the EXPRESS for their continued support. Without this paper, it would have been impossible for residents and businesses to donate kits to us.

Birmingham Football Club is grateful for donations it received from a local businessman.
The team received new soccer kits from a local businessman.
Masa Khamali, who has been a coach for 18 years, said he is happy for the support the club received from local businesses and residents.
“I would like to thank the EXPRESS for their continued support. Without this newspaper, it would have been impossible for residents and businesses to donate kits to us.
“We are grateful for the support that residents give us. We rely a lot on donations as we cannot afford to buy each and every player a kit,” he said.
The club was founded in 2002 by Dasa Nchingile with the aim of keeping young boys off the streets.
The founder’s vision was to emancipate the children from the jaws of street life and empower them with a positive attitude to better the society.
The club has made it its priority to ensure that no child in Joburg east areas will be deprived of their future goals due to lack of resources.
Nchingile said the club relied on donations and sometimes the kits were just not enough for every player.
“I am very happy that we received donations. The boys will play very hard and they will not have to wait for other players to finish their match so that they can pass on the kit to the other player,” he said.
The club is split into four age groups namely u-11, u-12, u-14, u-16, open team and u-35.
The football club has more than 50 players and has grown over the years.
