Edenvale Football Club gears up for annual Cansa Tournament
Set to raise awareness and funds for cancer all are invited to participate in the fun filled community event.
Football players from far and wide are encouraged to lace up their boots and get ready for the Edenvale Football Club’s annual Cansa Tournament.
Set to take place from October 23 to 25, the event will be held at the club’s home grounds, the Edenvale Sports Grounds, during Cancer Awareness Month.

Founded several years ago, the Cansa Tournament was initiated by current chairperson Tony Dias after he was diagnosed with colon cancer in early 2016.
Set to raise awareness and funds for cancer, all are invited to participate in the fun-filled community event.
Entry costs R700 per team, and registration closes on October 17.
The youth tournament will kick off on October 23, with the U12s getting the tournament started.
Registration for the day will start at 17:30, while the first match is expected to kick off at 18:00.
On October 24, the U6, U8, and U10 teams will participate, while the U7, U9, and U11 teams will take to the fields on October 25.
On both October 24 and 25, registration will start at 07:30, with matches expected to kick off at 09:00.
