Swimmers compete in OR Tambo Soncini Games.
The club is proud of the members’ achievements and looking forward to them swimming in great teams in the future.
Five swimmers from ESP Aquatic Academy represented Ekurhuleni at the 2018 Oliver Reginald Tambo Soncini Games where Ekurhuleni won the swimming competition.
This year marked the second year of the event and the 100th birthday of Oliver Reginald Thambo.
It was held St Benedict’s pool
Some of the academy’s top swimmers on the day were:
• Oyama Malaza – five final ribbons, three gold medals and a silver medal.
• Ona Matli – four final ribbons and three personal best times.
• Graham Peacock – Three final ribbons and five personal best times.
• Tinashe Senzeko – two final ribbons and two personal best times.
• Zimasa Ngqawana – five final ribbons, a silver medal and five personal best times.
