Modderfontein hosts Saturday bowl socials
Club members played competitively and were not easy on each other, making the match good practice for upcoming league matches.
Modderfontein Bowls Club held a social match on January 5 where both the women and men teams participated.

Club members played competitively and were not easy on each other, making the match good practice for upcoming league matches.
League matches will commence with men’s fours on January 19 and 20.
Member of the club Maureen Lowe said the club will be catering for 96 players, covering two full greens.
Another event the club is looking forward to later this year is Ladies Day.
“Various clubs from all over are invited. Last year Pretoria Bowls Club won at the Ladies Day,” said Maureen.
The bowls club is open to all community members who would like to join.
