Ravens hosts Luna Row

The winning boat on the evening was Coxed Eight from the University of Johannesburg.

The Ravens from the St Benedict’s College Boat Club hosted the fourth annual Luna Row at Victoria Lake Club in Germiston recently.

Delia Kench, public relations officer for the Ravens said that the unique social rowing regatta runs into the evening providing spectacular visual effects for the enthusiastic spectators.

The boats were decorated with lights, glow sticks and headlamps at this year’s Luna Row in Germiston.

“This year’s event was attended by over 200 competitive athletes who decorated themselves and their boats with lights, glow sticks and headlamps,” said Kench.

The winning boat on the evening was Coxed Eight from the University of Johannesburg.
