Assumption Convent School youngster performs well at regatta championship

Tannith Johnson of Assumption Convent School participated in the Senior SA Championship 2107 Buffalo East London Regatta on the last weekend of April.

She represented VLC juniors and won a silver medal taking second place in her scull for the U15 women. She also managed to win gold in the VLC U15 quad.

The competition was tough as the conditions were far from favourable with a 25 to 30km per hour head wind and an incoming tide.
