Julia Anne to dance in the UK
JOBURG – A Grade 5 schoolgirl to represent South Africa at the world dance competition in England.
Julia Anne Enslin, who is in Grade 5 at the Assumption Convent School, competed in Pretoria and Cape Town in February at the World Lyrical Dance Federation championships.
Julia came first in her solo and duet with Sofia Bollo from St Mary’s.
The school marketing manager, Marinella Sousa said Julia competed at Camps Bay, Cape Town on 20 May and came 1st for her solo. “She now qualifies to travel to London where she will represent South Africa at the first World Lyrical Dance Federation championships at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, between 22 and 30 July.”
