Swimmer excels at Central Gauteng Aquatics Champs

Kerryn also participated in the first Grand Prix in Nelspruit.

Kerryn Herbst, a Grade 10 learner at St Andrew’s School for Girls, took several first place finishes at the Central Gauteng Aquatics (CGA) Championships at Ellis Park in December.

Kerryn took first place in the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 200m backstroke, 50m butterfly and 100m butterfly events.

She finished second in the 100m backstroke event.

Kerryn also participated in the first Grand Prix in Nelspruit and achieved a third place in the 100m butterfly.

She took part in a CGA gala at Ellis Park on January 21 and finished first in the 100m and 50m backstroke events.
