Learners take to the field during derby day fun

Edenglen High School recently hosted a sports derby day against Hyde Park High School, which saw rugby, hockey and netball teams go head-to-head.

Edenglen High’s rugby teams had a good day at the office with the u-14 A winning 58-0, the u-16 A winning 65-0 and the first team winning 24-12.

The school’s netball teams experienced similar success, winning four out of their eight games, with the A and B teams of the u-15 and u-16 teams taking victory.

Lastly, the u-15 boys’ hockey tam won their game 1-0, with the boys first team drawing their game.

The girls’ hockey teams won all their games with the u-14s winning with a 3-0 lead.
