Edenvale learner take captaincy of Gauteng team

Edenvale High School learner Taylor-Ann Berkovic was recently named captain of the Gauteng u-17 Girl’s Football Team.

The Grade 10 learner was part of the u-17 team which competed in the SA Football Association National Championships held in Bloemfontein last December.

Although the Gauteng team made it through to the finals, but lost to the Eastern Cape, Berkovic was named Player of the Tournament.

The school congratulated Berkovic and attributed her success to her dedication to sport.
