Club’s round-robin results
The Modderfontein Tennis Club held a bring-a-friend round robin event on October 19.
In the Nadal Section of the Junior Club, the team of David Jung and Divine Iroabuchi placed first. Second place was tied with the teams of Skyla Potgieter and Aidan Martin, and Andries van der Walt.
In the Djokovic Section, first place was tied with the teams of Daniel Clifton and Ana Pinto, and Chad Roos and Keegan Norris. Second place was awarded to the team of Erin du Plessis and Emma du Plessis.
In the Nadal Section of the Elite Club, the team of Luca Roodman and Erick Heyns was placed first. Claude Pretorius and Aidan Clifton were placed second and third place went to Chay van Eck and Fletcher Gebhardt.
The Djokovic Section was won by Keegan Graham and Ryan Gebhardt. Second place was tied with the teams of Connor Gray and Bijorn Slabbert, and Amit Arieli and Gilad Arieli.
The club’s next round robin will take place on November 9. All players are welcome to play.
