Beware of fake SAPS recruitment advertisements, police warn

“The public is strongly urged not to share or forward such fake posts or links, as this may contribute to fraudulent activities,” police stated in a media statement.
SAPS further clarified that it does not request payment at any stage of its recruitment process. The organisation warned that any request for payment should be regarded as fraudulent and reported immediately.
Members of the public are encouraged to remain vigilant and rely only on official SAPS communication platforms, including its website and verified social media accounts, for information on vacancies and recruitment opportunities.
