Police are searching for four men who tied-up a couple during a house robbery at around 3am on September 2 in Vlei Road, Rynfield.
Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said the couple were asleep when they heard their bedroom door opening.
“Four men entered into the room, threatened them with a firearm, tied them up with shoelaces, and demanded money,” said Sekele.
The robbers fled with various electronic devices, including cellphones, a TV, and speakers.
No injuries were reported.
It is unclear how the robbers gained entry into the couple’s unit.
A case of house robbery was opened at the Benoni Police Station.
