Noorderlig dominates on the sports field
Players and coaches are celebrating another successful season on the sporting front.
Gekombineerde Skool Noorderlig recently made its presence known on the soccer and hockey fields with four teams walking away league winners.
On the soccer pitch, the U10 team finished top of the log winning all five of their matches with the U11 team showing equal dominance, winning eight out of eight matches.
Facing strong competition, the U13 team ran onto the field 10 times, and ultimately walking away as victorious league champions.
The high school hockey girls not only claimed league victory for the second consecutive year, but also qualified to participate in the Noordvaal tournament.
During their league performances they beat Curro Edenvale 7-0, Hoërskool Voortrekker 1-0, Curro Serengeti 3-2, Hoërskool Goudrif 9-0 and Hoërskool Johan Jurgens 7-0.
