Best of Ekhurhuleni Winners 2021

The sixth annual Best of Ekurhuleni readers’ choice awards has remained a barometer of what’s hot, hotter and hottest in Ekurhuleni since 2015.

Each year Ekurhuleni residents have an opportunity to vote for their favourite local places to go to, food outlets they enjoy to hang out with their family and the best businesses or institution to visit in Ekurhuleni.

Thousands of entries from readers poured in this year and we again used independent auditors to verify results. this helped us generate votes in 140 categories. Despite all the disruption, with lockdowns, curfews and restrictions put in place due to the pandemic we learned to evolve and to use innovative ways technologically to stay ahead of the game and still celebrate the Best of Ekurhuleni by recognising businesses, shops and restaurants that have sustained and evolved over the past year during this challenging time.
