Trevor Gumbi and Friends at Emperors Palace

The controversial, no holds barred comedian has gathered his pick of jester friends for a seven city tour of South Africa, commencing at Emperors Palace.

For one night only, fans can expect to be entertained to tears by some of South Africa’s most sought after comics, in the new and improved Theatre of Marcellus that now offers audiences vastly improved sightlines, with plush, fixed seating for an enhanced show experience.

The new lay out has increased capacity to over 1 000 seats, complete with a VIP area for ultimate comfort.

A SAFTA nominated actor, the hilarious Gumbi is currently performing in a local drama series and has been directing and writing for local television shows successfully over the years, but comedy has always remained his true love.

“I’m excited to be touring, I love meeting new people and interacting with my fans; it’s a humbling experience,” Gumbi said.

“Being able to do this show is dream I’ve had for a while, so seeing it come to fruition is a blessing.”
