Blessing furry loved ones

St Dunstan's Cathedral held its eighth pet blessing on Saturday, October 5.

A small ceremony was held and songs were sung, followed by the priest, Debbie Wesseloo, blessing each pet owner and their pet by sprinkling them with holy water.

“I love dogs, rhinos and horses; all creatures great and small,” said organiser Jean Ellis, when asked what her motivation is for arranging the event each year.
