Over 20 cellphones were stolen at Hicell Cellular, Northmead Mall, at around 9.30am this morning (December 18).

“The security guard at the door was approached by two well dressed gentleman,” said Sekele.

“The guard was told by the men to get into shop with them as it was a robbery.

“He refused, and the two men pointed a firearm at him, so he went inside with them.”

Three of the five men entered the store while the other two were on lookout.

Security were forced to open the safe where the men made off with the cellphones.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Hicell’s operational manager, Clifton de la Rose, said CCTV footage will be passed on to police.
