Join as One competition

Couples had to post their engagement photos, showing off their engagement rings, onto the Lakeside Mall Facebook page.

The competition ran over a nine-month period, from April till November.

The picture with the most likes for every month won Lakeside Mall and Hayward Diamonds vouchers, and was entered into the next round, where each month’s winners went against each other for the final prize.

The winning couple received the following prizes:

•  R5 000 gift voucher sponsored by Lakeside Mall management.

•  R25 0000 wedding bands from Hayward Diamonds.

•  Venue hire and catering from Willow Park Conference Centre and Hotel.

•  Silver Linings will sponsor the venue decor.

• 3@1 has sponsored the design and printing of their wedding invitations.

•  Spur will sponsor the pre-meal for the couple.

•  Flora Glynn has sponsored the flowers.

•  Lazeezas Bakery sponsored the three-tiered wedding cake, worth R2 500.

• Casseys Auto will transport the bride to the venue in one one of their new vehicles.

•  Edgars has sponsored a gift voucher worth R2 500.

•  Kurt Geiger has sponsored a R2 500 voucher for the groom’s attire.

•  CNA has sponsored a wedding album.
• Racine Creations will take pictures on the day — a R10 000 package.

• The bride’s makeup has been sponsored by Ralo Cosmetics.

There were about 30 entries in the competition each month.
